Why we are making these changes + why they are beneficial
Emissions = $TRB distributed through Meditation (staking)
Emissions schedule = the rate at which $TRB is distributed through Meditation (staking)
We are reducing $TRB supply and implementing halvings of emissions to better align the Meditation emissions schedule with the release of the steps of the Journey to Ascension. The main utility of $TRB is the ability to participate in quests along the Journey to Ascension and the current $TRB emissions schedule stretches $TRB emissions well past the release of the final step in the Journey to Ascension, while not enough will be circulating at the time of the launch of the final step. We are incorporating halvings and an overall supply reduction to ensure that more of the total $TRB supply is distributed sooner to allow more Apes to participate when the time comes, and to reduce emissions when $TRB is not needed.

Meditation (Staking) Rewards - 50,000,000 $TRB
As of 12/20, total TRB distributed for staking rewards is 20.8M
TRB emissions for all meditation rewards will be halved on 3 occasions,
First halving 22,000,000 TRB distributed - All meditation staking emissions 50%
Second halving 33,000,000 TRB distributed - All meditation staking emissions another 50%
Third halving 44,000,000 TRB distributed - All meditation staking emissions another 50%
With 50,000,000 TRB being the total TRB supply available for meditation rewards. Once all emissions have been redeemed, there will be no more $TRB emissions. We will not honor accrued $TRB once all 50M $TRB has been distributed. To ensure you do not miss out on accrued $TRB please regularly claim your $TRB!
This means if your Ape currently receives 20 $TRB per day from meditating, they will receive 10 $TRB per day after the first halving, 5 $TRB per day after the second halving, and 2.5 $TRB per day after the third halving. This applies to all meditating Apes regardless of lock period or ascension status.
These halvings are based on $TRB distributed not $TRB accrued. $TRB is distributed once you collect the $TRB from the Meditation Temple to your wallet.
Whale Rewards - 9,000,000 $TRB
We are introducing additional rewards for TAT Whales and Krakens as a direct order from Chorles himself. He has been watching and asks that his loyal followers be recognized.
Any holders with 10+ staked Apes or a staked Ceremonial Hood will receive bonus $TRB distributed on a daily basis. The rewards are broken into tiers:
Tier 1: 10+ Apes (Whales) // 1.5 points per Ape
Tier 2: 20+ Apes (Krakens) // 2 points per Ape
Tier 3: 35+ Apes // 4 points per Ape
Tier 4: 50+ Apes // 12 points per Ape
Tier 5: Ceremonial Hood // 25 points per Ape
9,000,000 of the remaining TRB will be distributed to TAT whales according to the above structure on a daily basis. These rewards were first distributed 12/20/2022.
Example - I have 25 Apes. I receive 2 points per Ape, 50 points total. Depending on how much $TRB is available to be distributed per day (roughly 30-60k $TRB/day across all whales) and how many other whales I am splitting rewards with, I will receive X amount of $TRB per point. If it’s 5 $TRB/point - I receive 250 $TRB airdropped to my wallet on that day. This repeats every single day until Meditation staking emissions are depleted.
NOTE: To receive whale Rewards you must have > 0 $TRB in your $TRB Token Account.
Marketing - 1,000,000 $TRB
A small portion of $TRB is reserved for the our CM/Mod team to use as prizes, rewards, and incentives.
